Potato has become an important crop for both farmers and consumers in Pakistan. it is the fourth most important crop by the volume of production; it is high yielding, having a high nutritive value and relies for more than 99% on locally produced seed potatoes.

Growth of Potatoes in Pakistan

Pakistan as a national produces about 12 per cent of the world's citrus fruits and stands among the top ten citrus growing countries in the world. In Pakistan the Kinnow is grown under totally natural conditions to enhance the original flavour of the fruit and to preserve its fundamental goodness. The fruit is sun-ripened on the trees and carefully hand picked at precisely the right time of ripeness. Kinnow juice in concentrated or liquid from is virtually exported to all over te world. Once treated with proper fungicide and wax and careful handling with storage of Kinnow at about +4 Degree Centigrade it can retain its freshness up to 60 days
